01The brief

Give every golfer a premium keepsake without slowing down tournament day. Guests needed to personalize a YETI tumbler with their name before heading out on the course.

02Our approach

We paired a custom name-entry kiosk with on-site laser engraving. Guests typed their name, checked a live preview of how it would sit on the tumbler, then went back to the event. Our team engraved each order on-site and our in-house system texted guests the moment it was ready. Laser engraving was the right call for drinkware: it is fast, needs no drying time and leaves a permanent finish that will not peel or fade.

Design

We used name-only personalization with a fixed layout, so every tumbler matched and guests only had one decision to make. The kiosk preview showed the exact placement before anything was engraved.

Logistics and setup

Engraving happened before and during the tournament, so guests collected their tumblers without leaving the course schedule. The pickup text did the queueing.

Why it works: golf days run on tee times. Moving the wait to a text message means the keepsake never competes with the schedule.
